En 1956, la antigua Uni\u00f3n Sovi\u00e9tica utilizaba agua a 2000 bares de presi\u00f3n para cortar rocas. El corte con agua a alta presi\u00f3n no es una patente. No fue hasta 1979 cuando un profesor de la Universidad de Columbia, en Estados Unidos, a\u00f1adi\u00f3 abrasivos al agua a alta presi\u00f3n. Gracias al chorro de agua a alta presi\u00f3n y a la acci\u00f3n abrasiva de los abrasivos, se aceler\u00f3 el proceso de corte.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Dos tipos de m\u00e9todos de aplicaci\u00f3n para la cortadora por chorro de agua<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Por supuesto, el m\u00e9todo de aplicaci\u00f3n de la m\u00e1quina de corte por chorro de agua no es \u00fanico. Fue el primero en estudiar las herramientas de corte por chorro de agua a ultra alta presi\u00f3n (UHP). La presi\u00f3n ultra alta se define como superior a 30.000 psi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">El Dr. Franz, ingeniero forestal, quer\u00eda encontrar una nueva forma de cortar grandes troncos de \u00e1rboles para convertirlos en madera. En 1950, Franz coloc\u00f3 por primera vez pesos muy pesados sobre una columna de agua, forzando el agua a trav\u00e9s de una diminuta boquilla. Recibi\u00f3 breves r\u00e1fagas de chorros de alta presi\u00f3n (que superaban muchas veces la presi\u00f3n actual) y pudo cortar madera y otros materiales. Sus investigaciones posteriores incluyeron un flujo de agua m\u00e1s continuo, pero le result\u00f3 muy dif\u00edcil obtener una alta presi\u00f3n continua. Pero el Dr. Franz demostr\u00f3 que el flujo de agua convergente a alta velocidad tiene una gran energ\u00eda de corte, y la aplicaci\u00f3n de esta energ\u00eda va mucho m\u00e1s all\u00e1 del sue\u00f1o del Dr. Franz.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\u00bfC\u00f3mo se invent\u00f3 el chorro de agua abrasivo?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">En 1979, el Dr. Mohamed Hashish, que trabajaba en Flow Research Laboratories, empez\u00f3 a investigar formas de aumentar la potencia de corte de los chorros de agua para cortar metales y otros materiales duros. El Dr. Hashish es considerado el padre de los chorros de agua abrasivos, ya que invent\u00f3 el m\u00e9todo de a\u00f1adir abrasivo a los chorros de agua normales. Utiliz\u00f3 granate como material para la arena. Con este m\u00e9todo, un chorro de agua (con grano de granate) es capaz de cortar casi cualquier material. En 1980, se utilizaron por primera vez chorros de agua abrasivos para cortar metal, vidrio y hormig\u00f3n. En 1983, apareci\u00f3 el primer sistema comercial de corte por chorro de agua abrasivo del mundo y se utiliz\u00f3 para cortar vidrio de autom\u00f3viles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Su primer usuario<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Uno de los primeros usuarios de esta tecnolog\u00eda fue la industria aeroespacial, que descubri\u00f3 que los chorros de agua eran ideales para cortar acero inoxidable, titanio y materiales sint\u00e9ticos ligeros de alta resistencia utilizados en aviones militares, as\u00ed como compuestos de fibra de carbono (que ya se utilizan en aviones civiles). Desde entonces, se han utilizado chorros de agua abrasivos en muchas otras industrias, como plantas de procesamiento, piedra, azulejos, vidrio, motores a reacci\u00f3n, construcci\u00f3n, industria nuclear, astilleros y muchas m\u00e1s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Cortadora por chorro de agua fabricada en China<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A finales del siglo XX, se introdujo en China la tecnolog\u00eda de corte por chorro de agua. En los \u00faltimos 40 a\u00f1os, China ha llevado a cabo investigaciones sobre la tecnolog\u00eda de corte por chorro de agua a ultra alta presi\u00f3n. El exitoso desarrollo del primer chorro de agua de mi pa\u00eds a finales de la d\u00e9cada de 1990 marc\u00f3 que mi pa\u00eds se ha convertido en el quinto productor de chorro de agua. En la actualidad, la presi\u00f3n general de funcionamiento de los equipos comerciales de corte por agua producidos en China suele rondar los 220MPa-400MPa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La m\u00e1quina de corte por agua de ultra alta presi\u00f3n CNC se est\u00e1 convirtiendo gradualmente en una industria emergente en el campo de la fabricaci\u00f3n de China. Su nivel t\u00e9cnico tambi\u00e9n afecta en cierta medida al nivel tecnol\u00f3gico general de fabricaci\u00f3n de China, afectando e incluso impulsando el desarrollo de las industrias relacionadas.
